ESTONIA
In January 2025, Oxan Energy has been awarded its first project, together with its partners, SNOW BV and Ocean Connect Energy.
‘SAARE 1’ – PROJECT INFO
Capacity: 900 MW
Location: 60 km off the coast of Saaremaa, Estonia’s largest island
Surface area: 88 km2
Water depth: up to 85 meters
Technology: floating wind. However, given the water depth, the project has the potential to combine floating and bottom-fixed technologies. The lay-out of the wind farm, including the technology to be used, will be decided after the impact assessment, as well as the environmental and technical studies.
Commissioning expected in 2033.

ITALY
In March 2025, Oxan Energy announced to develop 2 offshore wind projects in Italy, together with Ingka Investments and Avapa Energy.
‘DENTICE’ – PROJECT INFO
Capacity: 1.140 MW
Location: South of Sicily
Surface area: 346km2
Water depth: up to 650m
Technology: Floating wind
Commissioning expected in 2033.

BID PROJECTS
FRANCE
On June, 12th 2026, the French Government launched a massive offshore wind tender:
- 10 GW in total
- 11 projects spread across the different mainland sea fronts
- 5 GW of bottom-fixed offshore wind across 4 projects and 5 GW of floating offshore wind across 7 projects
