ESTONIA
In January 2025, Oxan Energy has been awarded, together with its partner SNOW BV, its first project!
It is also the 1st floating wind project in Estonia.

'SAARE 1' - PROJECT INFO
Capacity: 900 MW Location: 60 km off the coast of Saaremaa, Estonia’s largest island Surface area: 88 km2 Water depth: up to 85 meters
Technology: floating wind. However, given the water depth, the project has the potential to combine floating and bottom-fixed technologies. The lay-out of the wind farm, including the technology to be used, will be decided after the impact assessment, as well as the environmental and technical studies.
